According to rumours circulating online, One Direction are set to hire a brand new member for their next music video! But who could it be?

We’ll give you a clue – the rumoured sixth member would be both the youngest and smallest member of One Direction. Have you guessed it yet? Don’t worry if not, because we’re going to tell you right now.

Zayn, Harry, Liam, Louis and Niall will apparently be joined in their next music video by… Eric Cowell. That’s right, Simon Cowell’s son might be starring in One Direction’s next official video video. How cute would that be?

Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: “Simon was saying how much Eric loves playing on his little drum set and how he is already into music. He said he’d like to see his son in a One Direction video and thinks it’d be hilarious.”

Watch out Josh Devine, it looks you’ve got competition from a new drummer and he’s coming for your job.

The source did however admit that Simon probably wasn’t being serious so who knows? We might never see Eric join the band for a day but if it was done in the right way, we do think that it could actually be pretty funny.

For example, Eric’s appearance could be quite fitting if the boys ever decided to release a music video for ‘Act My Age’. It’d relate to the track’s lyrics and after all, our boys certainly can be big kids at heart sometimes.

In a brand new interview for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2015, One Direction have revealed the main reason for their long term success!

But what could it be? There really is so much to choose from. Is it down to their amazing songs, their incredible voices, their gorgeous looks or their lovable personalities? We’d say that it could easily be any one of those four.

The list could go on forever but we’ll let Niall explain what he believes is the main reason.

Speaking to Adrianna Costa on the show, Niall said: “We definitely owe all of our success to our fans and we’re lucky to have them because we definitely wouldn’t be where we are now without them. It’s all down to them really.”

Isn’t that nice? From voting for the boys on The X Factor to helping them break world records, it’s fair to say that us directioners have definitely helped our boys achieve the success they deserve and long may it continue.

In the interview, the boys also had lots of fun with party poppers and they spoke about their new album ‘FOUR’.

Explaining why the record is one of their personal favourites to date, Liam said: “I think, for us, it’s just because we got to write the music so we had a big involvement in what was going on.”

We always love hearing how much the boys appreciate our support and it’s good to once again see that being the biggest boyband in the world hasn’t changed Zayn, Harry, Liam, Louis or Niall. They may be slightly older and some things may have changed but ultimately, they’re still the same boys that we all fell in love with back in 2010.

Why do you think 1D have been so successful?

Zayn and Perrie’s marriage is going to be the wedding of the year so it’s no surprise that everyone would love an invite; we know we would!

Amelia Lily, who was an X Factor finalist the same year as Little Mix, is the latest celebrity to talk about the perfect pairing.

We interviewed Amelia over at our sister website OnePopz earlier this week and asked her if she reckons there’s a possibility she’ll be invited to Zayn and Perrie’s big day. She said: “Oh, everyone’s asking me this. I literally don’t know, it’s mad, who knows? I’d feel very, very blessed if I did get invited. I’m sure it’ll be a wonderful day but who knows? (laughs)”

After asking if she kept in touch with any of her fellow X Factor contestants, the beautiful 19 year old singer revealed: “I see Little Mix quite a lot to be honest; we’ve done quite a few shows together recently. They’re such lovely, lovely girls and I’m so proud of them; they’re doing amazing.”

Isn’t that nice? We always love hearing good things about Little Mix and One Direction. Amelia will of course know more than most too; she did live in the X Factor house with Perrie after all.



Amelia is  preparing to release her new single ‘California’ and she explained what the song is about: “It’s about a relationship between two people and it’s a long-distance relationship so it’s quite sad actually when you listen to the lyrics. He’s in one part of the world which is America, California, and she’s in London in the UK and they’re always crossing each other’s paths.”

We’re sure Zayn and Perrie know how that feels; they’re often in different countries so we can imagine them relating to aspects of this cute track. Even though it’s sometimes a long-distance relationship for Zerrie, we’re sure they’ll be just fine because they’re literally made for each other.

How would you feel being invited to Zerrie’s wedding?

Despite being two of the most famous people on the planet, Liam and Harry get starstruck themselves too sometimes!

Isn't that cute? If we ever got the chance to meet One Direction, we know we’d be super nervous but super excited at the same time. We’d probably be lost for words to be honest! You’d be the same right?

Well it turns out that Harry and Liam sometimes get that same feeling when they meet their idols.

Speaking to The Sun, Harry said: “There are times when you meet someone or talk to someone and you take a step back and think, ‘This is the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to me.'”

Liam was more specific about who’d he be starstruck over and it turns out he’s a massive fan of the popular TV show Breaking Bad. We hope Liam gets to meet the cast one day!

He said: “I’ve been watching Breaking Bad. If I met any of the cast I think I’d be like ‘Woah!'”

We’re pretty sure other celebrities are like ‘Woah!’ when they meet the boys! Who wouldn’t be?

This just goes to show how down to earth One Direction are. They might be the biggest boy band in the world but they haven’t let fame get to their heads and we love that about them!

How starstruck would you be if you met the 1D boys?

We recently received a press copy of the ‘One Direction: Clevver’s Ultimate Fan Guide’ on DVD!

After we’d stopped staring at the gorgeous front cover, we couldn’t wait to start watching it.

The documentary is over an hour long and it’s packed full of One Direction photos and facts!

There’s also new interviews with various celebrities who talk about their experiences meeting: Zayn, Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall. Some of them have some really interesting stories to share.

It’s basically a film put together by the fans for the fans!

One of the celebrities interviewed includes Disney princess turned pop star Bridgit Mendler.

Speaking about our boys, she said: “I get their songs stuck in my head all the time; I was just singing one of them the other day. I feel like there’s so much youthful energy in their music, you know, and the guys just look like they’re having fun.”

Twilight’s Robert Pattinson also says that he’d join the band ‘for sure’. Can you imagine that?

The documentary is hosted by Clevver TV’s: Dana Ward and Joslyn Davis.

Areas explored include: life before The X Factor, their appearances on TV shows such as iCarly, their friendship with Katy Perry and Harry’s relationship with Taylor Swift.

There’s also an in-depth look at each of the boys individually which includes some fun predictions about what the boys might be doing in the future aside from One Direction.

Niall becoming a spokesperson for Lucky Charms and Liam becoming a marriage councillor are just two of the suggestions made. How hilarious would it be if those actually became true?

The documentary also features a clip of One Direction explaining why directioners are so special.

Niall, Liam and Louis spoke about us fans and said: “They are literally relentless, they can beat anyone in a vote off and that is just the best thing for is ever. They’re the most dedicated people on planet Earth and all the best things that happen in our life are all thanks to them.”

We’d give this documentary 4 stars out of 5. It’s essential for any fan but we do wish it included more footage of the boys themselves. Some of the photos and clips are repeated throughout.

The exclusive interview with One Direction in the DVD’s ‘bonus features’ makes up for it though!

Questions asked by Clevver include: which moments in their life they’d like to relive again, when they realised their global success and which member would win the Hunger Games if it was real?

Randomly, we also find out that Zayn would be the most likely to twerk in a banana costume! Hot!

We won’t give any more features away now or you’ll have nothing left to look forward to!

According to an American radio station, ‘You & I’ is going to be One Direction’s next single!

Kiss 98.5 Buffalo played the track on one of their shows yesterday and they tweeted the following: ‘Nice job #Directioners! You got WAY OVER 150 RTs! @judkiss985 playing @onedirection’s new single #YouAndI at 5:16! #1DonKiss985′

That seems pretty official to us but it’s best to just take it with a pinch of salt for now!

The boys recently released their single ‘Midnight Memories’ exclusively in the UK but it failed to top the charts or get support from many radio stations due to its rocky nature.

‘You & I’ is a much slower ballad with beautiful lyrics so hopefully that’ll do better!

The lyrics are so good in fact that Liam has even got the track’s opening words ‘I figured it out…’ tattooed on his arm. Not even the Gods above could stop Liam from getting that tattoo.

Zayn recently revealed that ‘You & I’ is his favourite song from their third album. He said: “It’s quite slow – but it’s kind of got the same sort of vibe as What Makes You Beautiful in that it sticks in your head. It’s really catchy. It’s got that amazing melody to it where you just can’t help but sing.”

We love ‘You & I’ so we hope the rumours are true! If not, we’d just as happily see ‘Happily’ released as the next single. See what we did there? ‘Diana’ would be a pretty good choice too!

Either way, we can’t wait to see the music video for the next single!

How cute do Harry and Liam look in the photo above with Trekstock’s dog? It’s adorable!

The photo was taken at Trekstock’s charity dinner in London last night. Liam and Harry went for a meal with some lucky competition winners. We’re not going to lie; we’re super jealous.

Just imagine having tea with Harry and Liam - we wouldn’t want the night to end!

Trekstock is a charity which helps support young people with cancer and they launched their One Direction competition with Liam and Harry back in July last year. Harry and Liam are ambassadors of Trekstock and fans could win the chance to spend an evening with them by donating money. There were several other prizes up for grabs too!

We love that the boys used their fame to help a great cause and it’s great to see directioners who donate to charity being rewarded. This surely had to be one of the best competitions ever.

Speaking about the charity, Harry and Liam said: “We are both proud Trekstock ambassadors and we love the work that they do. We are always on the look out for new people to join as ambassadors of Trekstock.”

Us directioners managed to raise over $750,000 in total which is super impressive, well done. It’s not over now though, cancer affects people every day and you can find out how to donate here.

As well as spending time with Liam and Harry, the fans also received £500 in vouchers. WOW!

5 Seconds Of Summer have revealed what it’s like being around One Direction all of the time!

Last year, 5 Seconds Of Summer supported our boys on their worldwide ‘Take Me Home’ tour and they’ll be supporting them again for the North American ‘Where We Are’ tour dates.

Luke, Ashton, Michael and Calum spoke about what it’s like hanging out with One Direction off stage in a new interview with ITN. They said: "They’re pretty much the same. I think that’s what we like about them as a band; they’re real people. They were massive supporters of us on the tour, backstage they were always watching us on stage."

We’re super jealous and we wish we could spend that much with Zayn, Harry, Liam, Louis and Niall. Choosing 1D’s funniest member didn’t prove as easy for 5 Seconds of Summer though.

Ashton said: ‘I think they’re all pretty comedic dudes but I think Zayn.’

Michael thinks Niall is the funniest member and explained: “Usually I can’t help but laugh at everything Niall says, it’s just the way he says it.”

Meanwhile, Luke revealed: “You know who’s an underrated funny guy, Louis.”

We’d find it pretty hard to choose who’s the funniest too, they all make us laugh!

To finish the interview, 5 Seconds of Summer were asked what’s the best advice they’ve been given by One Direction. Calum said:“I got like a load of stuff just from watching afar, just like how they treat their career and how they’re so professional.”

Who do you think is the funniest member of One Direction?

This week’s episode of ‘Holby City’ has definitely proved controversial amongst directioners!

We can see why too, we’re just thankful it’s a TV show and not real life!

The latest episode of the BBC programme saw a massive One Direction fan admitted to Holby City hospital last night with serious heart and psychological problems.

She was a massive lover of Zayn in particular and told a doctor that she wanted to track down Perrie and ‘cut off her head with a rusty chainsaw’ simply because she’s Zayn’s fiancée.

If that’s not what you call crazy, we don’t what it is!

We hope that Perrie wasn’t watching because we can imagine that she’d have been quite upset hearing that; we definitely think the BBC went too far with this story.

Unfortunately, Perrie’s mum was watching and she wasn’t pleased. On her Twitter account @mothergoose2020, she said; 'Anyone watching Holby city ??? Really http://upset.com x'

The ‘fan’ portrayed in Holby City also had a large One Direction tattoo on her back and we can’t help but be slightly annoyed at the fact that it gives us directioners a bit of a bad name!

Thankfully, the show did also show One Direction in a positive light. There was a nice proposal between two characters using the lyrics of ‘What Makes You Beautiful’.

One Direction feature in this year’s Billboard Top 40 Money Makers Music Rich List, way to go boys!

It was only yesterday that we posted about Niall being named one of Ireland’s top earners here but now the band have conquered yet another line-up. Pretty impressive right?

The list put together by Billboard ranks singers and bands based on their earnings made in America last year. This includes artists from all different genres of music. Forget one dollar bills, One Direction dollar bills are worth a lot more!

Zayn, Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall come in at number 13 on the list with US earnings of a staggering $18,041,472.69.WOW! We can’t ever imagine making that much money.

The figure is based on money made from: their 3D movie ‘This Is Us’, sales of Midnight Memories, tour tickets sold, revenue from radio airplay and much more.

Taylor Swift topped Billboard’s list and other singers in the top 10 include: Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Maroon 5 and P!nk. You can check out the top 40 in full here.

We’re pretty sure the boys would have ranked even higher if the list was based on worldwide sales.

Still, it’s a great achievement and all you American directioners helped them get it so well done!

In Rock have revealed the cover for April’s issue of their magazine and our boys feature on the front!

We always love to see One Direction doing well worldwide. While it’s not the first time the boys have featured on the magazine’s front cover, it’s the first time that they’re on it this year!

They follow this year’s previous cover stars: Little Mix, Avril Lavigne and Ariana Grande.

Don’t Zayn, Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall look super gorgeous on the front cover?

We literally can’t stop staring at it; someone please come and unglue us from our screens!

All you lucky Japanese fans will be able to grab your hands on a copy of the edition from the 15th March and there’ll also be an exclusive poster of Harry Styles inside too. It’s days like these that we wish we could read and speak Japanese!

At this moment in time, there are no Asian dates for the ‘Where We Are’ tour.

The boys did of course film some of their ‘One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)’ video there though and they’ll hopefully get to visit Japan again soon. The ‘Where We Are’ tour will begin on the 25th April and so far, there are 69 dates in total.

Do you love In Rock’s new front cover as much as us?

Zayn Malik has inspired a brand new look for Ghost Rider in Marvel’s next series of comic books!

We can see why, who wouldn’t want to base a new cartoon around our gorgeous Zayn?

The comic books are set to hit shelves later in the year and the character looks like Zayn did in the ‘Kiss You’ music video. It has his previous trademark blonde stripes!

According to The Sun, Ghost Rider editor Mark Paniccia told illustrator and creator Felipe Smith: “The guy from One Direction’s name is Zayn Malik. I was picturing Robbie as a beefier version of him. Physically strong with a quiet, troubled, expression…kind of boyish.”

We’re sure Zayn will love the fact that a superhero has been designed to look like him. He’s very artistic and of course has his comic book style ‘ZAP’ tattoo on his right arm too!

Perrie also got Zayn a cake designed and themed around ‘The Incredible Hulk’ for his 21st birthday earlier this year so he’s definitely a big fan of comic books in general.

We can’t wait to see what the new Ghost Rider comics will look like. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not more characters in the series will look like the other boys!

It seems One Direction aren’t the only ones who love getting large tattoos, some fellow directioners do too!

When we woke up this morning and heard that a fan had got a new One Direction tattoo, we didn’t think it’d be a large image of Harry Styles’ face on her arm. Pretty crazy right?

The tattoo artist has done a great job but it’s so realistic that it actually looks kind of creepy!

Don’t get us wrong, we love One Direction loads but we’re not sure we could go through the same thing. She’s definitely brave and I suppose at least, in a way, she gets to see Harry Styles every day.

Most fans who get One Direction tattoos usually get lyrics from one of their songs or a small symbol tattooed to represent their love for the boys.

Even Liam Payne himself got ‘I figured it out’ tattooed on his arm which are of course the opening words from the amazing song ‘You & I’, that’s one of our favourites on Midnight Memories.

We reckon if we got a One Direction tattoo, it’d be lyrics from one of their songs too. ‘Not even the Gods above, can separate the two of us’ would make quite a nice tattoo.

James Corden has opened up about his friendship with Harry Styles whilst praising One Direction too!

The 35 year old comedian is close friends with our Hazza and he said that he can’t imagine what life is like for the boys day to day. He guessed that it must ‘sometimes feel like a prison’.

In a new interview with Fabulous Magazine, James said: “I was in New York with Harry and no one knew he was staying at the hotel we were in. But then one person tweeted that they’d seen him in the corridor and by the time we got back, there were like 700 girls there.”

Poor Harry! That must have been crazy when 700 girls turned up but we can understand that the fans probably just wanted to meet and get a photo with him.

James also said that he admires our boys because they deal with fame so well and haven’t changed. “They’re unbelievably together despite the way their lives have changed. That’s the best thing I can say about them – they’re the same. Just with better clothes and nicer cars.”

Awww, isn’t that nice? We agree with James, their lives have changed but they themselves haven’t changed much and they’re still the same boys that we came to love on The X Factor!

It looks like Niall had a ‘Wild’ time with Jessie J at Beyoncé’s concert this weekend!

Jessie J shared a video of her and our Nialler singing along to ‘Love On Top’ on Instagram and it’s so cute, our love for Niall is definitely on top right now. The pair attended the gig at the London’s 02 Arena on Saturday night with some friends.

Josh Devine, One Direction’s very own drummer, was one of their friends in attendance and they all enjoyed the show from one of the arena’s VIP boxes.

After the show, Niall quoted Josh and added his love for Beyoncé’s band. He tweeted: ““@JoshDevineDrums: Had a great night watching Beyoncé with @NiallOfficial.. That band… Unreal." bro the band were incredible, bass player.”

Beyoncé is currently performing around the United Kingdom with her ‘The Mrs. Carter Show’ world tour. It looks like it’s an amazing show so we’re jealous of anyone who got to see it.

One Direction have lots of celebrity fans and the latest to join the list are: A Great Big World!

The Indie rockers, who are famous for their hit single ‘Say Something’, have now said something about our boys and it turns out they’re directioners just like me and you!

So that means that A Great Big World don’t just make great music; they have a great taste in music too.

Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino are the only two members of A Great Big World. They revealed that they’re big fans of: Zayn, Harry, Liam, Louis and Niall in a recent interview with MTV.

Chad explained his love for the boys: “I love One Direction, I feel like they are super-talented and their songs are so catchy. I really love that it’s catching on everywhere. It makes sense. It’s good music and they’re good guys.”

While Ian agreed: “I can’t stop singing ‘Story of My Life, even still, it’s one of my favourite songs out there. We met them at the AMAs (American Music Awards) and they are so nice.”

Isn’t that nice? We always love hearing of new celebrity directioners. A Great Big World’s single ‘Say Something’ features Christina Aguilera and it’s had over 47 million hits on Youtube. It’s number 4 in this week’s UK chart and we love it!

We're sure it’ll come as to no surprise to hear that one of our boys have gone and got yet another new tattoo!

This time, it was the turn of Harry Styles!

Hazza was spotted in Los Angeles yesterday sporting a new heart tattoo on his left bicep.

It’s not like the usual love hearts that most people get though, it’s an actual human heart!

We weren’t originally sure what to think of it but we ‘heart’ it now, do you see what we did there?

The design was apparently drawn up by British tattoo artist Liam Sparkes who is also the man responsible for Harry’s giant butterfly on his chest.

Tattoos are something which definitely divide opinions amongst us directioners but we love them and think that the boys should be allowed to get whichever tattoos they want. After all, it’s their bodies and some tattoos can look pretty hot!

Just last week, we posted about Zayn getting the new flower tattoo on his left wrist here.

It looks like Zayn’s going to be starting a new sleeve and the other boys will probably visit tattoo parlours soon too so we’re sure there’ll be more tattoo news coming our way very soon!

According to rumours circulating on Twitter over the weekend, Zayn has an Instagram account! EEK!

The problem is that the account’s private which means that unless he accepts our requests, we won’t actually be able to see his photos. I know, we were gutted when we found that out too!

We’d love to see new selfies of our gorgeous Zaynster every day but we’ll just have to hope that he or someone else shares the photos on Twitter. It’s not actually confirmed whether the Instagram actually belongs to Zayn though so we don’t know how real it is but his Instagram account is apparently ‘niazkilam’.

For those of you who didn’t realise, that’s Zain Malik backwards!

The rumours came about after several new photos were apparently posted on the page including: one of Zayn showing that his ying yang tattoo hasn’t been covered up by the new tattoo on his left wrist.

If it really is Zayn then he’ll be joining some of the other One Direction boys on the photo sharing app. Their accounts are: @harrystyles, @louist91, @niallhoran and of course @onedirection.

Like Zayn, Liam is also rumoured to have an account but it hasn’t been confirmed.

A new interview with ‘Harry Styles’ aired on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night!

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the real Harry but we thought we’d post it anyway because it’s pretty funny.

Comedian Kristen Wiig took to the sofa pretending to be our Hazza and we think she mastered his image and style - especially considering it must have been harder for her as a girl!

The same can’t be said for her knowledge about the boys though but that’s what made it so hilarious, she didn’t even know that they’re from England and had auditioned for The X Factor.

We learnt from the interview that fake Harry’s favourite animals are giraffes and that his favourite movie is Star Wars. Who would have guessed? Jimmy Fallon even managed to get ‘his’ autograph, we can’t tell you how jealous we are!

After the interview, Jimmy joined Kristen as Harry to sing their very own rendition of One Direction’s smash hit debut single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’. We’d be lying if we said it was the best version of the song we’ve ever heard, that would be by our boys of course, but it was fun to watch!

Do you think Kristen Wiig makes a good Harry Styles?

Zayn’s only gone and got another tattoo but this time, it’s on his left hand rather than his right!

He got the new tattoo just recently at the Shamrock Social Club in Los Angeles. It’s hard to describe but it’s incredible and to us, looks like a very detailed flower.

It’s not the first time Zayn has been inked up at the Shamrock, he previously got the gun tattoo on his hip done there and some of the other 1D boys have also had tattoos done at the studio.

Louie Perez is the tattoo artist for this particular design and he posted the photo of our Bradford Bad Boi’s new tattoo on his Instagram (louie_perez_3_ssc) just six hours ago so it’s pretty recent.

What we can’t tell from the photos though is whether or not Zayn’s previous Ying & Yang symbol on his left wrist has been covered up or incorporated as part of the design.

One thing’s for certain, we’re sure this isn’t the last tattoo Zayn is going to get. He’s got the rest of his left arm to fill now so we’re pretty sure he’ll be starting another sleeve to match his right one.
