LISTEN: Kelly Clarkson Premieres Incredible New Single ‘Heartbeat Song’
Kelly Clarkson has always been one of our favourite singers and her new single 'Heartbeat Song' has just become one of our favourite songs!
The 32-year-old singer-songwriter premiered 'Heartbeat Song' earlier today and it's seriously addictive. We've already got the track on constant loop and we're definitely gonna turn it up, up, up, up, up all night long.In terms of sound, we'd say that 'Heartbeat Song' is slightly more uptempo and electronic than some of Kelly other's tracks. It serves as the lead single from Kelly's forthcoming seventh album and it's a great first taste.
At a guess, we'd say that Kelly's new album 'Piece By Piece' is going to have a vibe similar to the 'All I Ever Wanted' era which can only be a good thing in our eyes. The record is also going to feature an exciting new duet.
Speaking about the new album and hinting at its sound, Kelly recently tweeted: "My next album is pop. But I am always influenced by music I love, which is pop-rock/country/r&b/dance. Oh and people also keep asking about the duet on the record. Here's a hint... this wasn't our first time to sing together."
'Heartbeat Song' is now available for purchase in most countries but as always, us fans in the UK will have to be slightly more patient. The track will be released here on the 1st March and you can pre-order it here on iTunes.
Kelly's seventh studio album 'Piece To Piece' is also expected to hit shelves in March and she's already revealed that she can't wait to tour with the record. Bring it on Kelly; we've never been so ready for a new album and tour.
