Supernatural Season 11 Officially Confirmed – The Hunt Continues
As massive fans of Supernatural, we're over the moon to be confirming that the show has officially been renewed for an eleventh season!
The CW announced the amazing news last night and we really couldn't be happier if we tried. Sorry demons, Sam and Dean Winchester are going to be kicking your ass for another year so you'd best tread carefully. We'll be honest though, we're starting to wonder if we've forgotten selling our souls to a crossroad demon. If we had one wish, we'd have hoped that Supernatural got picked up an eleventh season and now it's happened. Let's hope that those hell hounds aren't coming for us anytime soon; we'll have to start stocking up on salt.
Tweeting about the show's renewal, Jensen Ackles who plays main man Dean said: "Early pickup for season 11! Congrats everyone. @jarpad @mishacollins @Mark_Sheppard #SPNFamily let's keep it going!"
As always, Misha Collins took a slightly less serious approach and joked: "The CW has officially picked up #Supernatural for 2016! Next season will focus on our characters' advanced age & mobility challenges!"
The CW have also announced that from the 18th March, Supernatural season 10 will be returning to its previous Wednesday night time slot of 9pm. Recently, Supernatural has been airing on Tuesdays in America instead.
Meanwhile, Supernatural's ninth season is currently airing here in the UK on Tuesdays at 10pm on E4. We're hoping that season 10 and season 11 will eventually be picked up by E4 too; keep your fingers crossed guys.
We just want to say a massive congratulations to the cast and crew of Supernatural. They've got a lot to celebrate; especially with the show's milestone 200th episode and the recent return of Supernatural to the UK.
