The Veronicas Release Revolutionary Video For New Single ‘If You Love Someone’

The Veronicas have unveiled the music video for their new single 'If You Love Someone' and the twin sisters are hoping to start a love revolution!

Echoing a message of peace and equality, the duo's new video reflects on matters of both a social and political nature. Its main aim is to inspire people to make a change and stand up against injustice; inspirational right?

If that's not enough reason to adore 'If You Love Someone', the track also has an incredibly infectious hook that will have you pumping your fists in to time. It's been in our head all day but we're definitely not complaining.

Explaining the single's meaning, Jess and Lisa said: “When we made the video for #IfYouLoveSomeone, it was important that we brought up issues worth discussing! The core thread of those messages, revolve around integrity. To make a difference. Defend the planet. Defend human rights. Animal rights. Stand up to corruption.

This video is merely meant to inspire a light within you, that we hope will one day spark into a fire to light the way for others. Ask yourself what you believe in, ask what we can all do to make these changes in our own lives! This isn’t a backpack revolution where we slap on a few badges.. this is a call for real change.

'If You Love Someone' will be released in the UK on the 22nd February next year and it's available for pre-order here on iTunes. It's already been released in Australia and has so far peaked at number 5 in their singles chart.

The single will also feature on The Veronicas' self-titled album which is set to hit shelves in the UK on the 2nd March 2015. It's available for pre-order here and it'll also feature the duo's beautiful ballad 'You Ruin Me' which went to number one in Australia. We can't wait to buy the album; the girls have certainly made a great comeback.

If you love The Veronicas, tell them right now!
