Doctor Who Series 8 Episode 2 Preview: Into The Dalek
Doctor Who returned to our screens last week for its eighth series and tonight, we'll see the return of one of The Doctor's most feared enemies!
That's right, if you hadn't already guessed from the episode's title, the Daleks will be back. EXTERMINATE!The Daleks have been scaring children all over the world since 1963 and the legendary aliens from Skaro will be coming face to face with Peter Capaldi's newly regenerated Doctor later today. We'll be hiding behind the sofa.
Don't worry, we aren't going to spoil too much about the episode, because we haven't seen anything other than the official previews ourselves but it's best to look away now if you don't want to know more details.
Because the BBC are such teases, they've also released a short synopsis for 'Into The Dalek' and it's made us even more excited to see the adventure later tonight. The plot's official preview description is as follows;
A Dalek fleet surrounds a lone rebel ship, and only the Doctor can help them now… with the Doctor facing his greatest enemy, he needs Clara by his side. Confronted with a decision that could change the Daleks forever he is forced to examine his conscience. Will he find the answer to the question, am I a good man?
How good does that sound? We wish we had a TARDIS so we could watch it right now but thankfully, there's not long to wait. 'Into The Dalek' will air on BBC One tonight at 7:30pm and it has a running time of 45 minutes.
Tonight's episode will also introduce us to Samuel Anderson's character Danny Pink who's set to become a series regular and we're sure he'll be great; Peter Capaldi's been fantastic as The 12th Doctor so far.
A trailer for 'Into The Dalek' is also available online and after watching it, it reminds us of the 2005 adventure 'Dalek' which starred Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. It's not very often you hear a Dalek asking for help.
