Brandon Flowers From The Killers Reveals Second Solo Album Plans

Brandon Flowers, the gorgeous frontman of The Killers, has revealed his plans to release his second ever solo album at some point next year!

The hunky Las Vegas singer has had many hits with his indie rock band and his first solo album was received well amongst fans and critics; he's now hoping to repeat that success with a brand new collection of songs in 2015.

Speaking to NME Magazine, Brandon revealed; "The record's not done yet, but I'm excited about it... I'm liking it. People are going to interpret it how they will, but there's only a little bit of Vegas in there."

For the record, Brandon has been working with Ariel Rechtshaid who's previously produced songs for the likes of: Haim, Vampire Weekend, Charli XCX and Kylie Minogue. Despite originally butting their heads together, Brandon says the pair are now 'hitting it off' and he says he's enjoying being taken out of his comfort zone.

Don't worry though, this doesn't mean it's the end for The Killers; far from it actually. The rockers are just taking a short break to pursue solo projects but they'll definitely re-unite again in the future. Brandon explained; "I wanna keep being in this band. I don't think we'll get too morbid about it, I think we wanna keep going."

We can't wait to hear Brandon's new album and it'll definitely help fill our The Killers shaped hole while we wait for new music from the band. It's exciting that the record will be out so soon too; 2015 isn't too long to wait.

Brandon's first solo album 'Flamingo' charted at number one in the UK and its incredible lead single 'Crossfire' also managed to make it to number eight in the UK singles chart. The 33 year old also carried out a solo tour so hopefully he'll be performing around the country again to promote this new record when it's released.

We recently went to see The Killers at the Liverpool 02 Academy for one of their very rare intimate gigs earlier this month and it was a fantastic evening. You can read our exclusive review of the concert here.
