Kelly Clarkson Unveils Music Video For New Country Single ‘Tie It Up’
Kelly Clarkson has unveiled the music video for her brand new country single 'Tie It Up.’ It’s all about weddings and we’ve got to say, we love it!
The American singer-songwriter goes barefoot for the video and it's a good job too, we can't imagine her doing all that jumping in a pair of high heels!In the music video, we see Kelly rock out at a wedding reception which is held in a barn of all places. She makes a great wedding singer and it looks like she had a lot of fun filming the promotional clip for the single.
The video shows lots of different couples getting married. What makes it all the more special though is that these are actually real clips from real weddings!
Kelly asked fans to send in their wedding photos and videos for the single's official lyric video but after seeing them, she decided to put them in the actual music video. We’re sure there’s a few happy couples out there right now!
It definitely seems like Kelly’s got a case of wedding fever at the moment but who can blame her? The 31 year old singer got engaged to her fiance Brandon Blackstock just last December so we’re sure wedding plans are on her mind at the moment.
We wonder if Kelly’s wedding reception will be anything like the one in the ‘Tie It Up’ music video!
The song was released worldwide on the 25th June and it’s the perfect marriage of country and pop music. It’ll be interesting to see if the track manages to chart here in the UK.
Despite being loved across the pond, there’s generally not a massive market for country music over here.
Taylor Swift has however managed to storm the charts with a few country tracks and just recently, Avicii made it to number one with his dance/country smash hit ‘Wake Me Up.’ Will ‘Tie It Up’ be able to do the same?
It’s not the first time Kelly has crossed over to the country genre. Her latest album ‘Stronger’ featured a duet with award-winning country singer Jason Aldean. The track was titled ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay’ and it’s one of our absolute favourites!
The ‘American Idol’ winner also dueted with Vince Gill on a country song titled ‘Don’t Rush’ which she included on her greatest hits collection last year.
Kelly Clarkson vows to release a Christmas album at the end of the year and following that, a new studio album of her usual pop/rock hits is set for release in 2014!
