NEW BAND: Cahoots Unveil Music Video For Uplifting Debut Single ‘Shoes’
We always love discovering new musical talent here at OnePopz so let us introduce you to Cahoots; Youtube’s hottest new three-piece band!
The group consists of: Tom Law from Cornwall, Matt DeFreitas from Surrey and Currice from Spain. Interestingly, all three members are successful Youtubers in their own right. With a collective total of over 300,000 subscribers, it's fair to say that Cahoots already have an established fanbase online so they're off to a brilliant start.But what does Cahoots mean? According to the Oxford Dictionary, it’s ‘colluding or conspiring together secretly’ which makes complete sense in our eyes. We're sure they'll cause lots of mischief and hysteria on the road.
The gorgeous trio met late last year at a Youtube collaborative workshop in London and since then, they've been working on new tunes in the studio. Last month, they premiered their very first single 'Shoes' and we absolutely love it. It's super catchy and inspirational too; the track reinforces that you shouldn't let anything get you down.
Sharing their debut music video on Youtube, Cahoots said: “We are sooo thankful for your support since we started, and for getting us way past 10,000 subscribers in one month! Let us know what you think.”
‘Shoes’ is currently available here on iTunes. It’s a fantastic first single from Cahoots so we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2015 has in store for the newly formed band. They’ll be uploading new videos here on Youtube every week and plan to release new original material every month so make sure you subscribe to their channel.
Thankfully, we can expect more new music from Cahoots very soon too. To coincide with this year's Youtube Music Awards, the band will be releasing their second original music video on the 23rd March. We can't wait.
