Charli XCX And Rita Ora Turn Badass In Video For New Single ‘Doing It’

Charli XCX and Rita Ora have unveiled their brand new music video and they're definitely 'Doing It' it for the ladies; it's all about girl power!

The track, which is being released a single exclusively in the UK, premiered earlier this month and it's already dominating the airwaves across the country. Radio airplay is sure to increase with the video now upon us too.

But what exactly happens in the video? Well, Rita and Charli: steal from a shop, party, sing on karaoke and ride a bucking bronco. There’s also some seriously hot policemen in the video so it’s definitely worth watching.

Speaking about the newly released 'Doing It' video, Charli explained: "The video was inspired by Thelma & Louise, Natural Born Killers and Barbie. It was so fun working with Rita on this. We had a wild time."

"Rita and I went to the Californian desert and shot in some incredible places with some incredible people. I was very inspired by Florida strip clubs, 70s fashion (I'm wearing flares!!!!!) and David Lachapelle. "

Rita Ora also expressed her excitement and said: "The DOING IT video is out!!! Right now!! go check it out!! I had this best time with this girl nobody realer funnier cooler and nicer. Love my English sister from another mister!"

In all honesty, we would change one thing about the video and that's the amount of filters used. We understand that Charli and Rita were totally going for the retro vibe but at times, the visuals are more blurry than effective. Still, it doesn't detract from the amazingness of the song and we do the love video's overall concept.

'Doing It' will officially be released as a single here in the UK on the 8th February and Charli XCX's sophomore album 'Sucker' will follow a few weeks later on the 26th February. Charli will also be heading out on tour to promote the record and you can find out where she'll be performing here on our sister site SuprTickets.
