WATCH: Jurassic World's First Trailer Premieres Online - The Park Is Open
Universal have treated us to the very first trailer for 'Jurassic World' and it definitely hasn't disappointed; it looks like it's going to be mammoth!
Depending on your age, you may or may not have grown up watching Jurassic Park but we know we certainly did. Words can't describe how excited we are about the franchise's fourth movie; it's been a long time coming.The new film is titled 'Jurassic World' and it's been directed by Steven Spielberg. Although Jurassic Park III premiered 13 years ago, its sequel is actually set to take place 22 years after the events of the 2001 movie.
Guardian of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt will lead the cast as main character Owen and the film will also star: Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins and Katie McGrath.
An official synopsis is yet to surface but the trailer gives us a good idea of what to expect. In short, a new species of dinosaur has been created following genetic experiments at the park and chaos is about to follow.
We think it's great that Jurassic Park will once again be opening its doors and it'll hopefully encourage a whole new generation to watch the original movies at some point; they truly are classics in their own right.
'Jurassic World' will stomp into cinemas across the world on the 12th June next year and we can't wait see our favourite dinosaurs back on the big screen. We have no doubt that it'll be a roaring success at the box office.
