As Doctor Who's eight series comes to a thrilling climax, The Doctor and Clara are up against Missy and her master plan later tonight!
Today’s adventure is the final episode of Doctor Who series 8 and it continues where last week's episode 'Dark Water' left off. It should be warned that this article does contain spoilers relating to the rest of the series.Last week, Missy's identity was finally revealed and it turns out she's The Master. Who saw that coming? With the help of the Cybermen, she's upgrading the dead and all the graves on earth are about to give birth. Creepy!
The official synopsis for ‘Death In Heaven’ is as follows; "With Cybermen on the streets of London, old friends unite against old enemies and the Doctor takes to the air in a startling new role. Can the mighty UNIT contain Missy? As the Doctor faces his greatest challenge, sacrifices must be made before the day is won."
Will Clara continue travelling with The Doctor though? She's had a rollercoaster of a journey and there's been rumours that Jenna has left the show so it'll be interesting to see if we can expect a new companion soon.
‘Death In Heaven’ will air tonight at 8pm on BBC One and it’ll have an extended running time of one hour. We're gutted that the season ends tonight but it won't be long until this year's Christmas special hits our screens.
