Doctor Who Series 8 Episode 9 Preview: Flatline

Sonic screwdriver in hand, Clara steps into The Doctor's shoes tonight to tackle a malevolent villain invading Earth from another dimension!

These enemies mean serious business and they leave literally nowhere to hide for safety; even the walls can't protect you from them. Scary right? Things only get worse when The Doctor is trapped and the Tardis is turned into a little blue box; it's still bigger on the inside but much smaller on the outside than usual.

Today’s story is the ninth adventure of Doctor Who series 8 and it looks like it's set to be this season's Doctor-lite episode. It's been written by Jamie Mathieson and will guest star Christopher Fairbank and Matt Bardock.

The official synopsis released by the BBC for ‘Flatline’ is as follows; “Separated from the Doctor, Clara discovers a new menace from another dimension. But how do you hide when even the walls are no protection? With people to save and the Doctor trapped, Clara comes up against an enemy that exists beyond human perception."

We don't know about you but the 'Flatine' trailer remind us slightly of 'Fear Her'; the eleventh episode of Doctor Who series two. In that story, The Doctor encountered the Isolus who drew people and trapped them on paper.

‘Flatline’ will air tonight at 8:25pm on BBC One and it’ll have an approximate running time of 45 minutes. This time next week, we’ll previewing Doctor Who series 8 episode 10 which is titled ‘In The Forest Of The Night’.

Will you be watching 'Flatline' on TV later tonight?
