Maroon 5 Release New Album ‘V’ And Announce 2015 World Tour

It's definitely a good time to be a Maroon 5 fan; the band released their fifth album 'V' this week and they've just announced a new world tour!

As massive fans of the group ourselves, we of course bought a copy of 'V' and it certainly lived up to all of our expectations. Particular highlights from the record for us are the: anthemic 'Leaving California', contagious 'In Your Pocket' and emotional 'My Heart Is Open' which is a collaboration with the amazing Gwen Stefani.

The album also features the record's: lead-single 'Maps', forthcoming second single 'Animals' and ‘It Was Always You' which was an instant download if you pre-ordered the collection. If you buy the deluxe edition, you'll also get three bonus songs including ‘Lost Stars' which originally featured on the Begin Again movie soundtrack.

If a new album wasn't enough, don't worry, you'll also get a chance to see the boys live on tour soon. Adam, Jesse, Mickey, James, Matt and PJ will be heading out on a 37 date world tour next year and they'll be playing concerts in; America, Canada and the United Kingdom. Their UK show dates are as follows;

  • 26th May – Wembley Arena, London, UK
  • 31st May – LG Arena, Birmingham, UK
  • 1st June – Phones 4U Arena, Manchester, UK

You can view a full list of Maroon 5's world tour dates here on our sister site SuprTickets. As part of the iTunes Festival, the 'Moves Like Jagger' band will also be playing a show at London's Roundhouse next Thursday.

Magic!, who's track 'Rude' just recently went to number one, will be joining the Maroon 5 boys for all dates of the tour and there'll also different support acts in different areas of the world. Nick Gardner will open the show in Europe whereas Rozzi Crane will kick off proceedings in the US. That makes for a pretty awesome line-up.

Tickets for Maroon 5's new tour will go on general sale this Friday and most venues are offering both standing and seating tickets. Our bank balances may be crying but we definitely aren't; it's good to have one of our favourite bands back. We can't wait to see the video for 'Animals' when it comes out in the next few weeks.

Will you be going to watch Maroon 5 live next year?
