Magalie Premieres Music Video For Debut Single ‘First Kiss’
Remember Magalie's debut single 'First Kiss'? We posted the track a few weeks ago and the rising star has now released its official music video!
The video tells the story of three pairs of lovers and it shows the moments leading up to their first kisses; isn't that cute? Magalie also gets to lock lips with a hunky guy herself which we're sure she didn't complain about.In ways, her style reminds us of Rita Ora but that isn't a bad thing and Magalie's unique voice definitely makes her distinct and different to any other pop star out there right now. She has a winning look and sound.
Speaking about her style and the music video itself, Magalie explained; “The visuals and the sound are part of the same thing. My image isn’t something I’ve been told to do, and I think my music sounds like how I look.
"I used to go into the studio in jogging bottoms, but a producer will struggle to understand your vision unless they can see it for themselves. I don’t have a stylist, because my look is all a part of me.”
Magalie was born in Paris and raised in London. She's now determined to kick-start her singing career and has been working with producers who've written for the likes of: One Direction, Robbie Williams and The Wanted.
'First Kiss' will be released on the 5th October and it should be available for pre-order soon. We're still loving the song here at OnePopz so we hope it gets enough promotion and recognition to enter the charts next month.
