The Script Unveil Heartwarming Music Video For New Single ‘Superheroes’

The Script have premiered the music video for their brand new single 'Superheroes' and we'd be lying if we said it didn't give us goosebumps!

Danny, Glen and Mark all head to the South African city of Johannesburg in the promotional film which was directed by Vaughan Arnell. Forget Batman or even Spiderman, The Script's new video pays tribute to real life superheroes who work hard every day to feed their families. Isn't that nice? It sure tugged at our heart strings.

We're still loving the song itself here at OnePopz too. 'Superheroes' debuted online just over two weeks ago and the official audio for the track has been viewed over a million times on Youtube; something we're sure the music video will top later this month. The official video has already received over 300,000 hits in just 24 hours.

With their previous lead single 'Hall of Fame' charting at number one in the UK, The Script definitely have pressure to match that record with their new tune. Will they manage it though? Only time will tell. 'Superheroes' will be released on the 31st August and and it faces competition from: Enrique Iglesias and Pharrell Williams.

The band's fourth album 'No Sound Without Silence' will follow on the 15th September and it will also feature 'Hail, Rain Or Sunshine'; The Script's song for the 'Mrs Brown Boys: D'Movie' original soundtrack. We're glad the feel-good anthem is being included on the record's track list because we loved it when we heard it in the cinema.

Does The Script's video make you reach for some tissues?
