NEW ARTIST: Check Out Magalie's Awesome Debut Single 'First Kiss'
We love discovering new artists here at OnePopz so we were very excited to come across Magalie; she has the potential to be the next big pop star!
Her debut single 'First Kiss' is an absolute tune and we could definitely see it up there in the charts alongside all the big hits in the future. The catchy upbeat track is all about that special moment when two lovers first kiss.So who exactly is Magalie? Described as 'the girl your brothers fancied and your sisters aspired to be', we'd say she's a mixture somewhere between Katy Perry and Iggy Azalea. That's definitely a perfect combination.
Mariah Carey and Alanis Morissette are two of Magalie's biggest idols and they actually inspired her to start writing songs in the first place. She explained: “I love Mariah, but she’s so perfect, whereas Alanis was so expressive and real. I thought ‘You can actually say this sort of thing in a song? Woah!’”
She's already worked with many big names including: Wayne Hector who's previously written tracks for One Direction and Guy Chambers who's worked with the likes of Adele and Robbie Williams. How exciting is that? It just goes to show how talented Magalie is; we're sure there'll be more great tracks to come from her soon.
Singing is something which has always been in Magalie's heart; she performed Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' at a family talent contest when she was younger and even sang in a duo with her best friend at school. Now, it look like Magalie's dream is about to come true and her future's certainly looking very bright.
