LISTEN: Maroon 5 Premiere Catchy New Single ‘Animals’
Maroon 5 keep firing out tune after tune; they've just premiered their brand new single 'Animals' and it's an absolute monster of a track!
The song has a seriously infectious melody which we're sure will soon earn it airplay on all of the major radio stations. With the right amount of promotion, we reckon 'Animals' could be another number one hit for the boys.Lyrically, the sultry track is full of innuendos and provocative lines. Using metaphors relating to the animal kingdom, lead singer Adam Levine sings about his unavoidable animal instincts to find the girl of his dreams.
Adam also lets out a mighty howl three minutes into the single; echoing the growl heard at the beginning of 'Overexposed' album track 'Doin' Dirt'. Adam's incredible high-pitched falsettos never fail to impress us.
It comes to no surprise that Maroon 5 have written a song titled 'Animals'; after all Adam does have several animals actually tattooed on his body. His tattoos include beautiful images of: a shark, a tiger and a giant bird.
Keeping in with the animal theme, the wild anthem also features on the latest hamster inspired Kia Soul EV advert. It's pretty cute and you can watch it here; the song of course makes the commercial even better.
'Animals' will be available for purchase on iTunes in most countries on the 25th August but as usual, we'll probably have to wait slightly longer for its official release as a single over here in the United Kingdom.
Maroon 5 's fifth album 'V' will be released in the UK on the 1st September and in America on the 2nd September. As well as featuring 'Animals', the record will also home to: 'Maps', 'It Was Always You' and 'Lost Stars'.
