New Doctor Who Series 8 Trailer Premieres During World Cup Final
It may have been the World Cup final last night but it wasn't the football that got us most excited; it was the amazing new trailer for Doctor Who!
During half time, the first full length TV trailer for the show's forthcoming eighth series premiered and it featured lots of exciting new clips. We saw glimpses of several new aliens and some old foes too.The trailer is also now available online and in total, it's one minute and five seconds long. Before continuing, we will however warn you that it does contain some minor spoilers for the forthcoming episodes.
We can't wait to see the return of the Daleks, it's been a while since the pesky mutants from Skaro caused terror in the Whoniverse and we're sure they're going to be just as scary as ever. EXTERMINATE!
One of our favourite quotes from the trailer is said by The Doctor himself. He explains: "I'm the Doctor. I have lived for over 2,000 years. I have made many mistakes. It's about time I did something about that."
The clip of the T-Rex stomping through London in the trailer is another personal highlight for us here at OnePopz. Ever since Jurassic Park, we've always loved dinosaurs so we're super excited for that episode.
Doctor Who will be back on the 23rd August with 'Deep Breath'; Peter Capaldi's first adventure as The Doctor. Jenna Coleman will also reprise her role as Clara Oswald and there'll be tons of special guest appearances.
