Adam Levine’s ‘Lost Stars’ Is Our Favourite New Movie Tune
Last night, we watched Begin Again at the cinema and it made us fall even more in love with Adam Levine and his new track ‘Lost Stars’!
The hunky Maroon 5 frontman premiered the amazing new song two weeks ago and it's a crucial part of Begin Again's original movie soundtrack. There's actually three different versions of 'Lost Stars' featured in the film but our favourite is Adam's acoustic version as it really does show off his incredible vocals.A heavier produced and remixed version of Adam Levine's 'Lost Stars' also features on the soundtrack alongside an edition sang by leading lady Keira Knightley herself. Adam also recorded two other new songs which are both equally as good and they're titled: ‘No One Else Like You’ and ‘A Higher Place’.
Having already acted in his Maroon 5 music videos and American Horror Story, Adam Levine wasn't a total newcomer to acting but Begin Again was his first major film role. He explained his time working on it;
“It really made me fall in love, it’s the very beginning of something really cool. I knew that I would try doing it. Because of the other wonderful things that have happened in my life and my career, I’d been given the opportunity to try it. I thought to myself, ‘Well, I’m going to try it. I’m not going to not try it.'"
All three versions of ‘Lost Stars’ are available now as part of the Begin Again soundtrack and you can listen to Keira Knightley belt out the track here. We'd definitely recommend that you watch the movie and listen to the whole soundtrack; we're sure you won't be disappointed and will literally have it on repeat in no time.
Adam Levine is also set to release ‘V’, his fifth record with Maroon 5, next month. It will feature their brand new single ‘Maps’ and the album will hit shelves across the world on the 1st September. We can't wait.
