Mark Willis : Maroon 5 Reveal Cover Art And Full Track List For New Album ‘V’

It's a great day for Maroon 5 fans! The American pop group have just unveiled the artwork and full track list for 'V'; their forthcoming album!

The record will be Maroon 5's fifth studio album to date and we're super excited because it's just over a month until it's finally released; we actually can't wait to hear all of the new tracks.

Personally though, we'd have preferred it if Adam Levine and the rest of the band were on the album's front cover. They appeared on the artwork for their second album 'It Won't Be Soon Before Long' but it seems like the guys don't generally like appearing on the cover art for their records which is a shame.

The neon red 'V' is really effective though and definitely eye-catching; we're sure it'll stand out on shelves.

In total, the album will feature 11 standard tracks and three extra B-sides. We're guessing the B-sides will feature exclusively on the deluxe edition of the record. You can view the full list of song titles below;

The lead single from 'V' is the incredible 'Maps' which you can watch the heart-breaking music video for here. You can also listen to the B-side 'Lost Stars' here which is part of Begin Again's original movie soundtrack.

Out of all 14 tracks, the most anticipated is definitely 'My Heart Is Open' as it's a collaboration with Gwen Stefani co-written by Sia. Speaking to Billboard about the song, Maroon 5's guitarist James Valentine said;

"It's cool for all of us to have her (Gwen) on the record. And Adam won't shut up about how cool she is as a person. A lot of times when you meet your idols it's a let-down, but it's the opposite case with Gwen."

"Living here in Los Angeles we've known Sia for a long time, back from when she was just an artist, before her second act as the most brilliant pop songwriter of all time, so it was really cool to work with her."

Maroon 5 will release 'V' in the UK on the 1st September and in America on the 2nd September.
