LISTEN: The Script Premiere Brand New Single ‘Superheroes’
Our favourite Irish rockers The Script unveiled their brand new single 'Superheroes' this morning and it's pretty amazing to say the least!
The epic track is super upbeat and it's got a great feel good message to it too. It's all about finding the superhero inside yourself and not letting anyone put you down no matter what; inspirational right?Musically, it's not too different from The Script's previous records but that's why we love it so much. We're glad they're sticking to their sound and hope that 'Superheroes' will be another number one hit for the boys.
We can't help but notice that superheroes are proving really popular with bands right now too; 5 Seconds of Summer also recently released their superhero themed video for 'Don't Stop' and that was adored by fans.
'Superheroes' will serve as the lead single from The Script's forthcoming album 'No Sound Without Silence' which was heavily recorded during the group's US tour. Lead singer Danny O'Donoghue explained;
"We’d come off stage and start recording straight away in a studio bus. Everything’s massive, everything’s larger than life on stage so when we hit the studio we wanted it to have that same impact.”
The record will be The Script's fourth studio album to date and it's set to hit shelves later this year on the 15th September. It follows the band's previous collections: 'The Script', 'Science & Faith' and '#3'.
Amazingly, we can already listen to short previews of some of the tracks featured on 'No Sound Without Silence' too. You can check them out here along with an image of the album's official artwork.
We're particularly impressed by 'Man On A Wire' and can't wait to hear the full version of it. Before that though, 'Superheroes' will be released in the US on the 28th July and in the UK on the 31st August.
