LISTEN: Amelia Lily Premieres Brand New Comeback Single ‘California’
Amelia Lily has definitely brought us joy today; she's just premiered the official lyric video for her brand new single 'California' and it's great!
After a week of teasing letters from the song's title on Instagram, Amelia has finally uploaded her comeback single 'California' online. We love it and we're sure that it's going to be played everywhere this summer.It's awesome to have Amelia back; it'd been far too long since the 19 year old X Factor finalist released some new music. Earlier this morning, Amelia couldn't contain her excitement and tweeted: "Its finally out! My brand new single 'California' is on pre-order! Are you guys excited?! #amelialilycalifornia"
She filmed the official video in California last month and behind the scenes photos show Amelia singing her heart out whilst riding a bike. We reckon it'll be quite different to Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' video.
Amelia previously released three singles, including her number 2 hit 'You Bring Me Joy', with Xenomania. She was also set to release her debut album 'Be A Fighter' with the record label but it was later cancelled.
Following its cancellation, Amelia signed with Warner's East West Records. East West Records was founded in 1955 and they've worked with many established acts in the past including: Missy Elliot and Bonnie Tyler.
'California' will be released on the 24th August and it's available for pre-order here on iTunes. With a release date as soon as next month, it's safe to say that the music video will probably premiere pretty shortly.
We hope 'California' charts well and we're keeping our fingers crossed that an album will follow!
