Becky Hill Premieres Music Video For New Single ‘Caution To The Wind’
It'd be an understatement to say that Becky Hill's been working hard since being a finalist on the first series of The Voice UK two years ago!
Following her time on the BBC's hit talent show, Becky has performed at many festivals and concerts across the country whilst also making her way into the UK singles chart on more than one occasion. The 20 year old singer most recently rocketed straight to number one with 'Gecko (Overdrive)'; her catchy track with Oliver Helden. You may also recognise Becky's fantastic smoky vocals from Wilkinson's top ten hit 'Afterglow' and Rudimental's soulful single 'Powerless'. Isn't her voice just so incredibly unique?
Now it's time for Becky to take centre stage. She's just released the music video for her very first solo single 'Caution To The Wind' and it's a complete earworm; we've literally been listening to it all day.
While it's a shame we don't get to see Becky in the music video, the beautiful animation really does let the song work its magic. The video was directed by Fred Rowson who's previously worked with Tinie Tempah.
Becky explained how the single came about: "All I could hear was the phrase ‘Caution to the wind’, which I really liked. I decided to write a song based around idioms. There are around 13 on 'Caution' like 'Come hell or high water' and 'I'm going to go the extra mile'. They're how I feel about myself and my music."
'Caution To The Wind' is available for download now and we can expect to hear more great tunes from Becky Hill soon. Her debut album is set to follow and it's apparently going to have a retro 90's vibe to it. Funky!
