The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes Joins Jessie J On Stage At Capital FM’s Summertime Ball

Stomp, stomp, Nathan Sykes arrived! Formerly in The Wanted, he made a surprise appearance at Capital FM's Summertime Ball on Saturday!

Nathan joined Jessie J and DJ Cassidy on stage at the concert in London to perform 'Calling Our Hearts' which charted at number six in the UK earlier this year. The song originally featured vocals from Robin Thicke but this is where Nathan came in; he covered Robin's parts and we think he did a pretty fantastic job.

Speaking about the performance, Nathan told Capital: "Jessie asked me to do this and it was amazing and I'm very grateful and honoured to be asked by two people I have so much respect for."

"Obviously Robin Thicke has all these track ad-lib bits he put in. Of course being at Wembley and being very overwhelmed by the whole experience, I went off as I do - instead we just decided to dance!"

Jessie J also performed her following hits at the gig: 'Wild', 'It's My Party', 'Price Tag' and 'Domino'.

Nathan isn't the first former member of The Wanted to make headlines since the band's split either, Tom Parker also recently premiered his new single 'Fireflies' which you can check out here.

We were more than gutted when The Wanted announced that they would be taking a break from music in January but we're super happy to see that some of the boys are working on solo projects already.

Hopefully Max George, Jay and Siva will follow with some new music soon too!

What do you think of Nathan's performance with Jessie J?
