Pixie Lott Unveils Summery Music Video For Brand New Single ‘Lay Me Down’
Pixie Lott has released the music video for her new single 'Lay Me Down' and it'll definitely have you hoping for some summer sunshine!
In the music video, the blonde bombshell can be seen sporting swimwear in the south of France while she enjoys time by the pool. It's so perfect that it actually looks like it's been shot through an Instagram filter.Speaking about filming the video, Pixie said: "I absolutely loved shooting this with a fabulous team. I shot it with the same company who did my video for 'Heart Cry', because they captured the perfect vibe before. It was my first time in the south of France and I was in awe, so beautiful."
"I think the track is a perfect second single because it still has an upbeat vibe you can dance to, but with a meaningful lyric in a soulful way. I love performing this live because we can really get into it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!"
We're loving 'Lay Me Down' here at OnePopz and it's definitely grown on us after a few listens. The song will be released on the 27th July and it'll serve as the second single from Pixie's forthcoming third album.
Pixie Lott's third album will be self-titled and it's set to hit shelves across the world on the 4th August. It will also feature 'Nasty', the first single from the record, which charted at number 9 in the UK earlier this year.
