New Godzilla Trailer Stomps Online – The World’s Largest Lizard Is Back!

Prepare yourselves, Warner Brothers have released a new trailer for this year's Godzilla film!

We've got to say, it does look pretty amazing and we can't wait to see it. The sci-fi blockbuster is one of this year's most anticipated films and it will hit cinema screens across the world later this year.

For those of you who aren't aware, Godzilla is a gigantic mutant lizard who was first created back in 1954. It's appeared in over 20 films making it an icon of pop culture in its own right.

It's crazy to think that the last American 'Godzilla' film was released back in 1998. We weren't quite old enough to watch it in the cinema but we can remember watching it on DVD all the time!

The new film will explore the origin of the creature and its official synopsis is as follows: "An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence."

Godzilla has been directed by Gareth Edwards and it stars: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe , Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Sally Hawkins and Bryan Cranston.

It will be released in cinemas across the United Kingdom and United States on the 14th May. There will be 3D showings of the movie and it will be released in Japan two months later on the 25th July.

Will you be going to watch Godzilla in the cinema?
