Olly Murs Reflects Career Highlights In ‘Right Place Right Time’ Video
It’s been three and a half years since Olly Murs made it to second place on The X Factor - surely that’s a great time to reflect and look back at your career right?
The Essex-born entertainer’s latest video for ‘Right Place Right Time’ does just that. Olly's been on an incredible journey since auditioning for the show so we're sure he won't need to be a contestant on ‘Deal or No Deal’ again anytime soon.'Right Place Right Time' is the title track from Olly’s latest album and despite being the fourth single from the record, we have a feeling it’s still going to do really well in the charts. It’s so catchy and once you hear it, we guarantee that you’ll have the uplifting chorus stuck in your head for days. Not that we're complaining!
Lots of previously unseen backstage clips feature in the official 'Right Place Right Time' video and there’s even glimpses of Robbie Williams who Olly is currently supporting on his European stadium tour.
Olly’s previous singles from the album include his number one hit ‘Troublemaker’ and his previous single ‘Dear Darlin’ which made it to number five in the charts. The second single from the album, ‘Army of Two’, also made it into the top twenty of the charts and the album itself entered the album charts at number one!
We’re sure you’d agree that’s not bad considering he didn’t even win The X Factor!
The official release date for the single ‘Right Place Right Time’ is the 23rd August which is perfect timing as we reckon it could be this year’s next Summer anthem. B-side’s to the track will be two new remixes and a live version of the song which was recorded at the 02 Arena in London.
So what’s next for Olly after the single has been released? He’s expressed an interest to release further singles from the album and following that, he has plans to release his fourth studio album in 2014. Now that he’s no longer a presenter on The Xtra Factor (we’re sure Caroline Flack is gutted), Olly intends to focus all of his time and energy into his music.
As Olly’s album has been certified double platinum, a lot of fans will already have copies of the track ‘Right Place Right Time’ but that didn’t stop ‘Dear Darlin’ from proving to be such a hit. We’ll just have to wait and see how the single charts in a few weeks time but no matter what happens, it’s still one of our favourite singles released by Olly to date!
