Jessie J Releases Music Video For New Single ‘It’s My Party’
It’s only been three days since Jessie J first unveiled her new single ‘It’s My Party’ but that didn’t stop her from uploading the official music video for the track today!
We’ll be honest, we didn’t expect it to be released so soon but it was definitely a nice surprise to wake up to this morning! It's certainly been a fantastic week for us heartbeats; we can't stop smiling.In the video, we see the ‘Wild’ singer live up to the title of the track and throw three of her very own parties. I’m sure we’re not the only ones wishing we’d been invite!
We even get to see Jessie go back to her ‘Do It Like a Dude’ roots in the new video. The Essex-born entertainer takes her friend’s hat and ‘grabs her crotch’ in a way that only she can. There’s lots of air-guitaring involved and of course, Jessie J’s pulls all of her usual feisty mannerisms too!
The clip includes cameo appearances from some of Jessie’s closest friends, one being Daley who you might remember released a track with Jessie last year called ‘Remember Me’. Supermodel Jourdan Dunn also makes an appearance.
Jessie spoke to Captial FM about filming the video. She said: “It was an amazing day, I had Jourdan Dunn in the video, who's a supermodel. It was her first music video, so that was really fun for me to experience that with her.”
This is the second music video to show off Jessie J’s new short hairstyle. The British star shaved her head back in March to help raise money for Comic Relief and we still think she can pull it off better than most people could.
Jessie’s previous single ‘Wild’ featured rappers Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal. It made it to number five in the charts and was the first cut from her currently untitled second album.
