Set It Off Release ‘Ancient History’ Music Video And Announce Headline European Shows
As well as releasing the video for their incredible new single 'Ancient History', Set It Off have just announced some headline European shows!
The American rockers will kick off the tour in Glasgow on the 4th May and their final date will be in Eindhoven on the 20th May. Cody, Dan, Maxx, Austin and Zach will complete a string of thirteen European shows in total. But what happens in the 'Ancient History' music video? With the help of arguably the world's best remote control, Cody becomes the master of time travel. He can pause, fast forward and rewind real life. Pretty cool right? We may not have one ourselves but we're definitely guilty of clicking rewind and replay on the band's fun new video.
Set It Off's frontman Cody Carson spoke to us about the 'Ancient History' video last month. He said; "It’s the first time we’ve ever co-wrote or co-directed a music video. We decided we wanted to put more attention into our own project because I’m pretty picky as far as videos go and I have a really specific idea of how it should look. This allowed us to do that. So far, first take back, everyone’s been saying that is our best video yet."
Make sure you check out our exclusive interview with Set It Off in full here. Band members Cody, Dan and Maxx revealed: the process behind recording 'Duality', who they'd love to collaborate with in the future and more.
'Ancient History' is currently available on Set It Off's sophomore album 'Duality' which you can purchase here on iTunes. It follows the record's first single 'Why Worry' and we'd certainly recommend that you buy a copy. We're personally hoping that either 'Wolf In Sheep's Clothing' or 'Miss Mysterious' will be the album's next single.
You can see where Set It Off will be heading on their European tour here on their official website. Tickets will go on general sale tomorrow and we'll most definitely be going to see them in Manchester again. They absolutely smashed their set at the Rise Of The Runaways tour so we're excited to see them play their own headline show.
