Doctor Who Series 8 Episode 11 Preview: Dark Water

Do you want to know who the mysterious Missy is in Doctor Who? If so, make sure you watch tonight's episode as we're going to get more clues!

Missy, as played by Michelle Gomez, has popped up many times throughout the series and her identity has caused vast fan speculation. There's lots of theories being posted online so we're excited to finally find out who she is and what she's up to; there's not been a character this enigmatic since Professor River Song.

Today’s adventure is the penultimate episode of Doctor Who series 8 and it'll see the return of the destructive Cybermen. Kate Stewart and Osgood from U.N.I.T will also be back to try and help defeat the deadly foes.

The official synopsis released by the BBC for ‘Dark Water’ is as follows; "In the mysterious world of the Nethersphere, plans have been drawn up. Missy is finally about to come face to face with the Doctor, and an impossible choice is looming. “Death is not an end” promises the sinister organisation known only as 3W – but, as the Doctor and Clara soon discover, you might wish it was."

After watching the trailer, we've got to say, we're slightly worried about Clara. What's happened to her and why is she saying she's never existed? One thing's for certain; the episode is sure to end on one hell of a cliffhanger

‘Dark Water’ will air tonight at 8:15pm on BBC One and it’ll have an approximate running time of 45 minutes. This time next week, we’ll previewing the final episode of Doctor Who series 8 which is titled ‘Death In Heaven’.
