Amelia Lily Releases Music Video For New Summer Single ‘California’
It's the day we've been waiting for; Amelia Lily has premiered the music video for her awesome new single 'California' and it doesn't disappoint!
Amelia definitely helps bring in the summer with the video which is just over four minutes long in total. In it, we see the gorgeous singer: relax by the pool, flirt with a cute guy, play tennis and dance on the beach.Once again, Amelia also drops her phone. Fans of the X Factor finalist may remember that her phone also slipped out of her hands into a sink at the beginning of her 'Party Over' music video which was released last year. Maybe it'd be a good idea to start putting her phone on a string around her neck to keep it safe.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Amelia explained the meaning of the song and video; "It's actually about an ex of mine, but I thought the story was great because obviously I want people to relate to it."
"I think the video gives a little twist to the song. It's a fun, summery song and I want people to have a great feeling when they listen to it. It's perfect for my new sound and it represents the album really well."
We love 'California' here at OnePopz and it's fast becoming one of our favourite summer anthems this year; we've literally had the catchy track running through our heads since it premiered earlier this month.
It's great to hear that Amelia has been involved in writing songs for her debut album too; she recently told Attitude Magazine that she's put her 'heart and soul' into the tracks and can't wait for fans to hear them.
'California' will be released on the 7th September; with Amelia's album set to follow later this year.
