Get Ready For Some New Amelia Lily Music – Her Next Single Will Be ‘Coming Soon’
It's been far too long since Amelia Lily released a new single but the rock chick has now promised fans that she'll be releasing a new track soon!
She revealed the news in a 13 second video which she shared on: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.We're super excited to hear it because Amelia is one of our favourite X Factor contestants ever and that really is saying something. Her incredible voice and edgy style are a winning combination and they helped her come third on the UK series of the show back in 2011. Since then, her journey has had its ups and downs.
Amelia's debut single 'You Bring Me Joy' rocketed to number two in the UK singles charts on its week of release and her second track 'Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got) also made it to number 11. 'Party Over', Amelia's third single, didn't however chart as high but it still managed to scrape the top 40.
All three singles were set to feature on Amelia's first album 'Be A Fighter' but the release date of the record kept being pushed back until it was eventually cancelled. Heartbreaking right? Instead, the 'You Bring Me Joy' singer-songwriter has been working on new material in the studio with a more pop/rock sound than before.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she explained; "I didn’t want to release something that I wasn’t 100% happy with. I’ve gone back in the studio now, working on new songs. I feel a lot older now.”
“I feel like I’ve learned a lot from being in the industry for the past two years and I’ve gone back in and I know exactly what kind of direction of music I want to do. It’ll be worth the wait, I promise you."

It's definitely going to be interesting to hear what Amelia's new single will sound like. She often names Paramore and P!nk as two of her musical inspirations so maybe the track will sound similar to their songs.
