Mark Willis : Everything You Need To Know About Paramore

After all this time, we should be over the all butterflies but we're still into Paramore!

They're one of our favourite bands around and we just can't help but love them.

'Ain't It Fun' rocking out to their music? Well, ' Now' is the chance to learn some Paramore facts!

We’ll start off with some interesting facts about each of the band's current members…

Hayley Williams

1) Hayley Nichole Williams was born in Mississippi on the 27th December 1988.
2) As well as loving music, she also has passions for: writing, make-up, hair, fashion and theatre.
3) Hayley loves bright hair colours and is constantly changing the colour of own.
4) She has many nicknames and these include: Hbomb, Hayleyball, Hayles and Spongebob.
5) Ever since the age of 15, Hayley has been leading the band Paramore. That's a long time!
6) She quit school at a young age but was still tutored once a week.
7) Hayley is the oldest of her parent's children and she has two younger sisters: Erica and McKayla.
8) She has lots of tattoos including: one behind her ear, two on her ankle and one on her wrist.
9) Saves The Day, mewithoutYou, No Doubt and The Swellers are just some of her favourite bands.
10) Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is one of her best friends and has been for years.
11) Hayley's solo track 'Teenagers' was used for the soundtrack of the movie 'Jennifer's Body'.
12) She can play several instruments including both the guitar and the piano.
13) Hayley's favourite movies include: Wayne's World, Son In Law and Pet Sematary.
14) Her first band crush were N Sync, who can blame her? We all love a bit of Justin Timberlake.
15) She recorded a duet with B.o.B and the pair released the song 'Airplanes' in 2010.
16) It made it to number one in the UK charts and number two in America.
17) Hayley also dueted with electronic dance music producer Zedd on his track 'Stay The Night'.
18) It was released in September 2013 and peaked at number two in the UK charts.
19) She appeared in New Found Glory's music video for their single 'Kiss Me' in 2007.
20) Following the video, Hayley started dating her boyfriend Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory.

Taylor York

21) Taylor Benjamin York was born in Tennessee on the 17th December 1989.
22) He's the youngest in Paramore and the youngest of his parent's children too.
23) As a kid, he never thought that he'd be playing in a rock band but he loves it.
24) Taylor has many nicknames and these include: T, Tay, T-ber,
25) Chocolate chip cookie dough is Taylor's favourite flavour of ice cream.
26) His interests and hobbies include: music, grilling, biking and hanging out.
27) He once got a noise ticket for playing 'Since U Been Gone' by Kelly Clarkson too loud in his car.
28) Taylor became an official member of Paramore in 2009 after being a touring member for two years.
29) Before joining the group, he helped them write two of their biggest hits: 'That's What You Get' and 'Decode'.
30) Radiohead, mewithoutYou, Bon Ivor and Bjork are some of Taylor's favourite bands.
31) He used to have both Twitter and Instagram accounts but has since deactivated them.
32) Taylor hates gory scenes in horror movies and often leaves when they're on.
33) He's a Christian and admits that he finds it important to have a lot of time to just himself.
34) Some of Taylor's favourite movies are: The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou and Pan's Labryinth.
35) He was close friends with Paramore's previous members: Josh Farro and Zac Farro.
36) 'Invisible Children' is a charity he's passionate about and he often mentions it.
37) Nashville, Montreal, Barcelona and Scandinavia are some Taylor's favourite places.
38) He has several tattoos including one of some large flowers on his right arm.
39) Guitar skills run in Taylor's family, both his father Peter and brother Justin also play the guitar.
40) As well as playing the guitar, Taylor can also play the: the keyboard and glockenspiel.

Jeremy Davis

41) Jeremy Davis was born in Tennessee on the 8th February 1985.
42) He's the oldest member of the band and the only one that's married too.
43) Cotton candy, chicken fingers and beanie weanies are some of Jeremy's favourite food.
44) Worm and Schzimmy Deanie just two of Jeremy's nicknames.
45) He has several tattoos including one on his back of a hand which says 'sacrifice'.
46) His interests include: music, riding his bike, shooting his guns and anything dangerous.
47) Jeremy married actress Kathryn Camsey on the 30th September 2011.
48) Their first child Bliss Belle Buttercop Davis was born on the 28th December 2013.
49) Deftones, Death Cab for Cute, Sigur Ros and Mew are just some of Jeremy's favourite bands.
50) Jimmy Eat World were one of Jeremy's biggest musical inspirations.
51) His brother Solomon is a photographer and he took professional photos for Jeremy's wedding.
52) Jeremy plays the bass guitar in the band and he's been playing the instrument for over 14 years.
53) One of of his favourite movies is Drag Me To Hell. Great taste Jeremy, we love that too!
54) Jeremy used to be in a band called 'The Factory' and this is where he met Hayley Williams.
55) She auditoned to be the singer in the band and later introduced him to Josh and Zac Farro.
56) Jeremy is a massive fan of hip hop and he hopes that Eminem likes Paramore's music.
57) Before Paramore released their debut album, Jeremy left the band due to personal reasons.
58) He of course later returned but Paramore wrote a song 'All We Know' about his departure.
59) Jeremy has a fear of spiders and he really doesn't like being shocked either.
60) He'd love to learn to play the piano one day and hopes to learn the 'yass flute' too.

Paramore

61) Paramore are a pop rock band who've released four studio albums to date.
62) They were originally signed to Atlantic Records but later decided a major label wasn't best for them.
63) Instead, they signed to Atlantic's smaller and niche record label Fueled By Ramen
64) Paramore was a coming together of several local bands from the Tennessee area.
65) Hayley and Jeremy used to be in a funk cover band and Jeremy was in a group with the Farro brothers.
66) Josh and Zac Farro are previous members who left Paramore for personal reasons in 2010.
67) Paramore released their debut album 'All We Know Is Falling' on the 26th July 2005.
68) It peaked at number 8 on the UK rock chart but failed to make the top 40 in the album chart.
69) Their debut single 'Pressure' was released a week later on the 31st July 2005.
70) The tracks 'Emergency' and 'All We Know' later followed as the album's second and third singles.
71) Despite being been nominated for three Grammy awards, Paramore have not won any yet.
72) They have however won many other awards including 11 Teen Choice awards.
73) Their second studio album 'Riot!' was released in many countries on the 12th June 2007.
74) It charted at number 24 in the UK charts and number 15 on the US Billboard chart.
75) The first single from the record was 'Misery Business' which was hugely successful.
76) It's since gone platinum in America and made it to number 17 in the UK single charts.
77) Later singles from 'Riot!' were: 'Hallelujah', 'Crushcrushcrush' and 'That's What You Get'.
78) The first song Paramore ever wrote together was their debut album track 'Conspiracy'.
79) They once performed two shows on a travelling ship which they titled their 'PARAHOY! Cruise' tour.
80) B.o.B, Charli XCX and Fun. are just some of the acts who've supported Paramore on their tours.

81) They came up with the name 'Paramore' because it was the maiden name of one of their first bass players.
82) The homophone 'Paramour' also means 'secret lover' so they couldn't resist choosing it when they knew that.
83) Paramore's third album 'Brand New Eyes' hit shelves across the world on the 29th September 2009.
84) It charted at number one in the UK and number two on the US Billboard chart. Way to go Paramore!
85) 'Ignorance' was the lead single from the album and it was released on the 7th July 2009.
86) Later singles from the album were: 'Brick by Boring Brick', 'The Only Exception', 'Careful' and 'Playing God'.
87) The butterfly seen on the 'Brand New Eyes' album cover was inspired by one found in Hayley's mums driveway.
88) Jason Bynum is one of Paramore's former guitarists and he actually used to be neighbours with Hayley Williams.
89) They released 'Decode', a song for the original soundtrack of the film Twilight, at the end of 2008.
90) It charted at number 52 here in the United Kingdom and number 33 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
91) Paramore also recorded 'Monster', a track for the soundtrack of 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'.
92) It was released on the 7th June 2011 and it made it to number 22 in the UK singles chart.
93) They want to be seen as a whole band don't like being compared to other bands with lead female singers.
94) Paramore's fourth album is self-titled and it was released last year on the 5th April 2013.
95) It charted at number one in lots of countries including the UK and the US, way to go Paramore!
96) Their debut single from the record was 'Now' and it was released on the 22nd January 2013.
97) 'Still Into You', 'Daydreaming' and 'Ain't It Fun' were the following singles from the record.
98) The music video for 'Ain't It Fun' sees the band breaking as many world records as they can.
99) It's the second video they shot for the track because they weren't happy with the original one.
100) Paramore will be doing a joint North American tour with Fall Out Boy in summer 2014.
