Avril Lavigne Confirms Her Next Two Singles – ‘Hello Kitty’ And ‘Give You What You Like’
Avril Lavigne has revealed her next single choices and we're excited that they're opposite musical directions!
The pop punk princess from Canada will be releasing different singles in different areas of the world.Her electronic dance track 'Hello Kitty' will be the next single in Asia while the rest of the world will see Avril release her haunting ballad 'Give You What You Like' next. We reckon they're great picks!
Avril revealed the news of the single releases on Twitter and she's already filmed the music video for 'Hello Kitty'. She tweeted: "I LOVE JAPAN !!!! This music video shoot is so fun! Hello Kitty!!!"
Confirming the release of 'Give You What You Like' elsewhere, Avril retweeted: “'@MyFlawlessAvril: There will be a video for Give You What You Like, right? @AvrilLavigne' yes working it out now."
Both songs feature on Avril Lavigne's amazing self-titled album which was released in November last year.
They follow the record's previous singles: 'Here's To Never Growing Up', 'Rock N Roll' and 'Let Me Go'.
We reckon Asia are definitely going to love 'Hello Kitty'. It's the continent where Avril always does best and it's the sort of track that dominates the charts over there so it's bound to be a massive hit.
The success of 'Give You What You Like' will probably depend on how much promotion and radio support it gets. It's an incredible track with great lyrics and emotional vocals though so it definitely deserves to do well.
We can't wait to see the music videos both singles; we're sure they'll be awesome!
