American Horror Story Season 4 Confirmed To Be Set At A 1950’s Carnival

Prepare for scary clowns! It's been confirmed that the next season of American Horror Story will be set at a carnival!

It won't be a carnival in the modern day though; we'll travel back in time all the way to the 1950's!

Rumours that the show's fourth season will be set at a circus have been circulating around the internet for the past few weeks and now; it turns out the rumours are true.

Douglas Petrie, one of American Horror Story's writers, was asked about it during a recent Nerdist Writers Panel podcast. He said: "Yes, it doesn't have a title, but that's the idea. Very roughly, that's the idea."

The first three seasons saw events unfold at: a haunted house, a mental asylum and a witch's coven.

We still find it interesting that each season is a completely different story but with most of the same cast playing different characters. Not many shows do that but it really does work.

Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Frances Conroy have all been invited back to be part of season four so it looks like it's going to be pretty amazing and we can't to watch it later this year!
