Amelia Lily Uploads Her Second Youtube Cover – ‘Hit Me With Your Best Shot’ By Pat Benatar
Amelia Lily has uploaded a new acoustic cover of 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' by Pat Benatar to Youtube!
It's the second in a series of cover videos which Amelia is uploading in the run-up to her debut album. The first was an amazing cover of Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse' which we posted about here two weeks ago.Not only does Amelia put her own spin on the record, she literally goes for a spin on the top of a JCB too!
She's joined by her guitarist and close friend Steve Rushton and they're both a lot more relaxed than we would be that high up in the air. We don't think we've ever seen anyone sing on the claw of a JCB before.
The 'You Bring Me Joy' singer-songwriter's incredible vocals during her rendition of the Pat Benatar track remind us why she made it all the way to the semi-finals of The X Factor in 2011. Her voice is amazing!
Amelia’s debut album ‘Be A Fighter’ was meant to be out last year but after several delays, she decided to go back into the studio and work on new material for the record. It's not yet know whether her first three singles: 'You Bring Me Joy', 'Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)' and 'Party Over' will still feature on the album.
We're hoping the album will be out later this year because we can't wait to hear it!
