X Factor’s Tamera Foster Sings For Seven-Year-Old Cancer Patient
She's one of our favourites on this year's X Factor and it seems it isn't just Tamera Foster's amazing vocals that are hitting the papers for good reasons this week!
After hearing about the story of Stacey Mowle, a young girl who was diagnosed with cancer at just four years old, Tamera couldn't resist helping out. She invite Stacey, who is now seven, around to her house so they could spend some time together.Speaking to the Metro, Tamera said: "She said she loved watching me on the X Factor so I invited her round to my house when I had some free time as a surprise. We also did a fundraiser at school, where I performed, and we raised about £4,000 – there were cake sales and jewellery was being made."
Stacey's parents are currently trying to raise £500,00 for treatment against the Neuroblastoma cancer in America and you can help by donating here on her Just Giving page.
The 16 year-old X Factor star doesn't want to stop there either. Tamera's heard that Stacey is a massive fan of One Direction and has promised that if she's still on the show when they come to perform, she'll get some tickets for Stacey and her family to come and watch. That's nice of her, isn't it?
In the first two live shows, Tamera has impressed judges with renditions of 'Ain't Nobody' by Chaka Khan and 'Beneath Your Beautiful' by Labrinth and Emeli Sandé.
