Kelly Clarkson Unveils New Christmas Single ‘Underneath The Tree’

It's not even been Halloween yet but Kelly Clarkson has unveiled her new Christmas single 'Underneath The Tree!'

We've got to say, after listening to it, it's definitely put us in the festive mood! Bring on Christmas!

'Underneath The Tree' is a cheerful track which was written by Kelly Clarkson and fellow songwriter Greg Kurstin who she's collaborated with on many occasions before. Greg helped Kelly write last year's smash-hit 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' and he's also worked with the likes of P!nk, The Wanted, Ke$ha, Rita Ora and Lily Allen.

Original Christmas songs don't seem to get released very often anymore. Most singers usually just perform covers of the old classics but we feel this has a chance of becoming its own classic in years to come.

Who knows? Maybe 'Underneath The Tree' could even make it to this year's Christmas number one!

It sounds quite similar to Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' which can only be a good thing. Kelly's incredible vocals complement sleigh bells throughout and there's even a saxophone solo which kicks in during the bridge of the song.

'Underneath the Tree' will be available as part of Kelly's Christmas album 'Wrapped in Red' which is scheduled for release in the UK on the 2nd December. The album will feature more original tracks and covers of many famous festive hits.

Will you be listen to 'Underneath the Tree' this Christmas?
